Over the years, all the Foul Football books have given step-by-step instructions on how to recreate the best penalty shoot-outs, kick-offs, headers and goals in footballing history. Our plan is to bring these into one great book, in horribly handy huge format or wire-o-bound. Over 30 great moments will be featured, with accompanying facts, including: Stanley Matthews' 1966 flick trick, Beckham's 60-metre shot, a penalty shoot-out American style, Dribbling like Rangers' Rodney Marsh in the very first cup final, and last night's Champions League final penalty shoot-out! The book will be part re-use, part new material, as the existing books tend to focus on historical moments. For boys to want to recreate these moments we think they need to be as contemporary as possible. We also need an international element in there, even though there may be no rights interest... In addition to the step-by-steps, the text will be punctuated with statistics, footy facts, cartoon gags, quizzes — all in the Horribly Huge fashion.
